Hi, I’m Stacey.
Life can be so hard at times, and it can be easy to forget our resilience and capacity to
overcome obstacles. Sometimes we just need a little extra support. I have a passion for working
with individuals facing the daily challenges of living with chronic pain/illness and the
2SLGBTQIA+ community but provide support for identity exploration, anxiety, depression,
burnout, life transitions and general support for your mental well-being.
I approach my work from a place of lived experience of chronic pain/illness and the
2SLGBTQIA+ community. I take a relational and authentic approach to therapy, focusing on
building the relationship and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to open up. My
style uses humour, gentle challenging, and practical insight and tools to encourage change
(however that looks for you).
Together, we can work to help you build resilience, explore your values and improve your
emotional well-being, so that you can feel more in control of your life and get back to doing
some of what you love to do.

Do you struggle with feelings of anxiety and constant worry? Are you frustrated with your life or relationships but are unsure of how to achieve the change you desire? Life comes with many struggles that can plague people from all walks of life and sometimes overcoming these struggles is best achieved through employing the help of others. We all need help sometimes, and it was through my personal experience in therapy that I was able to find balance, clarify my values, and begin building a life that feels good from the inside out.
My personal life circumstances and experience in overcoming mental battles are what inspired my passion for mental health and led me into the helping profession. I strive to meet you where you are in your journey, and approach you from a place of curiosity while walking alongside you as you learn about yourself, discover your desires for life, and ultimately help you to uncover who your authentic self is. I value teaching clients how to develop and utilize various skills that empower them to live their desired life and overcome their struggles. My approach involves working collaboratively to help you identify the root of your difficulties and drawing on your existing strengths to employ various strategies that address these issues and assist you in positively progressing forward.

With over 20 years of experience as a counsellor and coach, I work with individuals of all ages as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re
struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or finding it hard to manage major life
transitions, I’m here to help you through it.
I have a special passion for working with tweens, teens, and young
adults who are seeking support for anxiety, relationship difficulties, understanding and processing feelings and trauma, and navigating major transitions such as entering high school or
post-secondary education.
I aim to create a safe, compassionate space where
you can explore your feelings, be your authentic self, and begin the process of healing and
growth.
